Im out in Vermont right now, just arrived in Stratton for the US Open. I left on Wednesday night and had the worst flight ever. I had to stop through 4 airports before made it to Burlington, it was a hassle. I got in around 11:30am and got picked up by Luke Shelly, the Loon Mountain Coach and one of the founders for the best snowboard camp ever SASS (South America Snow Sessions). Check out the website, it is sick (www.sasnowsessions.com).
Once I got picked up we drove to Loon, stayed the night, then left for Killington the next morning for the Grand Prix. The weather was pretty bad at Killington but I did my best in the slopestyle contest. The course was pretty fun, nothing to big, but it was good practice for the Open. I fell my first run on the down rail, which was a bummer because it put alot of pressure on me to land my second one. I ended up sticking my run and getting 8th place and a little bit of money. I didnt do the run that I wanted, but I was stoked that I made top 10.
I have Slope practice tomorrow and then pre-quals on Wednesday. I let you know how it goes!
Thanks Guys,
Bobby
